Pictures of trees were taken mostly in parks (Parque Moinhos de Vento & Parque Farroupilha). Pictures of buildings were tanken mostly in down town.
Pictures of buildings and street art were taken mostly in Odivelas, Alfama, Chiado and Bairro Alto; they were taken also near the Mosteiro dos Jerônimos, the Museu de Arte Antiga, Cais do Sodré and Museu do Azulejo. There are a few pictures from Setúbal.
[This is an old post. Originally there were several photographs I took in Lisbon and Porto Alegre here. They are not available anymore in this page, because it was difficult to organize all them in a way that worked permanently with this blog layout updates. I choose then to embed at the top of it a single photograph that is now available at Fine Art America, together with other of my photographs and also my drawings.]
I thank Maria Estela Guedes for letting me stay at her apartment in Odivelas (for the sencond time), and also Ana Luisa Janeira, whith whom I walked through Alfama and other places.
Places interesting to go in Lisbon are also the Igreja de São Roque (and its museum), and Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. There is a good bookstore inside the building of the Biblioteca Nacional. Fnac Chiado is a good place to buy books and Dvds.
I used to go to the cinema at El Corte Inglés. Lisbon has some nice municipal swimming pools. While there, I used to swim at the Piscina Municipal do Rego.
